Testing During the COVID-19 Era

We do our best to hold our exams according to our schedule.  However, should conditions preclude us from holding an exam on our scheduled date, then we would likely just cancel that exam date and look forward to our next scheduled exam session.

We are not holding on-line sessions.  As much as we would like to be able to offer those, we do not have the ability to do so at this time.

We know how important our exam sessions are to our candidates and we do our best to accommodate them.

When we do hold our exams, we limit the number of people in our testing room.  We test no more than 4 candidates at a time.  So, while our testing page lists our testing time as 10:00 AM, that will be our first testing time of the day.  As we receive more requests to take exams, we will schedule the exams at half-hour intervals.  We expect that our candidates have studied sufficiently in order to pass their exams, therefore, those candidates who do not pass their initial exams and want to re-test, will have to wait for another time slot to open up.  Candidates who want to take multiple exams at this session (e.g., their Technician and General Class license exams) will be allotted additional time.

We ask that our candidates wear facial coverings to our exams and practice safe social distancing.  Our Volunteer Examiners will all be wearing facial coverings and we will also be doing our best at social distancing.

Our goal is to offer a safe and pleasant exam experience for both our candidates and Volunteer Examiners.

We look forward to seeing you at an upcoming exam session.
